1.     It will be mostly cloudy today with temperatures reaching a high near 87.  There’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms , mainly after noon. 

2.     Wow , there are a lot of city government meetings this week. Grab a drink and talk about allowing customers who buy beer in bars to take their drinks outside at a meeting with bar owners and public officials at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

3.     Followed by a regular City Council session at 7 p.m., at which members will discuss where to lease land for cell towers.

4.     On Wednesday, the city will hold its first public hearing on the budget.

5.     And on Thursday, the Special Events Advisory Committee meets to discuss the city’s event-related expenses at the New Port Richey Public Library from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.  Then, police chief Jeffrey Harrington and Sheriff’s Office Captain Jack Armstrong will hold a community policing town hall meeting at 6 p.m.
