• Pasco County passes new ordinance allowing residents to keep hens on property (mynews13.com) — New Port Richey homeowners can now legally keep up to four hens in their backyards under a new Pasco County ordinance covering all residential areas. The rule, already embraced by a local 10-year-old hen owner, requires coops, bans roosters, and comes with county classes starting in January for residents who want to learn how to responsibly raise backyard hens.
