Chase Bank Under Construction in Southgate
A new place to stash your cash is coming to U.S. 19.
A Chase bank is being built in Southgate Shopping Center, and it is tentatively scheduled to open in September. The new bank is being constructed from the ground up at the corner of U.S. 19 and Marine Parkway.
The Chase chain is the consumer and business banking arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Nancy Norris, a spokeswoman for JPMorgan Chase, said the branch, located at 5029 U.S. 19, will employ 10 to 12 staff members.

Norris did not know the specific opening day or dimensions of the new branch. Chase had 280 branches in Florida, and the new branch is one of 37 being added to the state this year.
It will be the only new branch in Pasco County, but several branches already exist here. To find one, use the Chase Branch locator.

“We looked at locations that were destinations for consumers” when choosing spots for branches, Norris said. Such destinations include supermarkets and retailers.
The Gulf Coast Business Review reports that Chase plans 13 new bank branches in the Tampa Bay area this year: five in Hillsborough County, three in Manatee, two each in Sarasota and Pinellas counties and one in Pasco.
