Decomposed Body Found In New Port Richey
The Thursday discovery of a decomposed body in a wooded area in New Port Richey is under investigation.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the Thursday morning discovery of a decomposing body in New Port Richey.
According to the agency, the body was found on a wooded lot in the area of Little Road and Youth Lane shortly after 11 a.m. Feb. 16. The body was located in the northeast corner of the lot.
No further information is available at this time, including the person’s identity. The sheriff’s office said the person had no identification. A cause of death also remains unknown at this time.
