Do You Know Who Drives This Van?
Pasco deputies say the driver of a dark blue van approached a teenage girl in Holiday on Friday.

HOLIDAY, FL — As the Pasco County Sheriff's Office continues to search for a man accused of suspiciously approaching a teenage girl walking on Bartlet Road in Holiday Friday evening, the agency has released photos of a van the man may have been driving.
The incident was reported to the agency, kicking off a search for the man. In hopes of obtaining images of the suspect van, deputies issued a plea to residents in the area Saturday, asking them to check surveillance video to see if their cameras happened to capture an image of the van. As it turned out, surveillance did spot the suspect van, the agency reported Sunday.
“We have obtained an image of a dark colored van that appears to match the description of the van,” an email from the sheriff’s office said. “The van appears to have front-end damage to the bumper and (a) missing left hubcap.”

The incident that prompted the search for the van and its driver occurred between 5 and 6 p.m. Oct. 14. The 15-year-old girl told deputies a man driving a van pulled up to her and tried to engage her in conversation. The man then invited her inside the van, an email from the agency said.
The girl declined and was able to make it home safely, the agency noted.
