Driver Sought In Hit-And-Run Crash In Pasco County

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Friday on northbound Route 19.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — State police are searching for the driver of an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash in Pasco County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Friday on northbound Route 19.

Police said a silver mid-sized SUV was traveling north on the highway when it turned left at Maryland Avenue and into the path of a southbound Suzuki motorcycle driven by a 34-year-old Spring Hill man. As a result, the motorcycle struck the SUV, police said.

Following the collision, police said the driver of the SUV continued westbound on Maryland Avenue without stopping.
