Five Things You Should Know Today

Here are five things to keep in mind

1.     Residents of New Port Richey, and only residents, can begin registering their children today for the city Parks and Recreation Department’s summer camp. Registration for the camp, which runs from June 13-August 5, costs $320 for 8 Weeks for residents. Applicants must bring proof of residency and notarized applications to the . Non-resident registration begins next Monday.

2.     Residents are meeting today at 9 a.m. at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center to discuss entering next year’s America in Bloom contest.

3.     We’re in for a mostly sunny morning, but the National Weather Service expects to see the sky turn partly cloudy later. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s near the coast and the lower 80s inland.

4.     The New Port Richey Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee meets today at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center at 5:30 p.m.
