Five Things You Should Know Today
Here are five things to keep in mind as you make your way through the day.

1. We’re in for a partly cloudy day, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will reach highs in the 80s.
2. The New Port Richey City Council is meeting tomorrow night at city hall, starting at 7 p.m. Among the issues on the agenda are:
- The first reading of an ordinance that allows the city to move forward with a plan to lease out property to a cell phone tower company. The ordinance allows the city to vote on entering into a master agreement to host cell towers on rented city property and share the revenue from them.
- A vote on a plan to contract out the collection of $690,000 in unpaid code enforcement fees to a private company.
- Votes on new contracts with the New Port Richey Police and Fire Rescue departments.
