1.      It could feel like 102 degrees today thanks to the heat index, although the actual temperature wil be near 91 days. The National Weather Service forecasts a possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

2.     The New Port Richey City Council meets tomorrow at 7 p.m. at City Hall.  An update on from the project’s developer and discussion of a marketing study for the are on the agenda.

3.     The council decided last week to take another look at charging parking fees at Sims Park Boat Ramp. Should they do it? Take our and share your opinion.

4.     The New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center is hosting a public safety event tomorrow. Watch kids play basketball against police, get free photo ID cards, fingerprint kits and handgun locks. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
