Five Things You Should Know Today, August 10

We're halfway through the week, and there's still so much to know.

1.     We’ll get relief from yesterday. It should only feel as hot as 102 due to the heat index. We’re still likely to see rain again, mainly after 11 a.m. The temperature will reach a high near 90.

2.     The New Port Richey City Council decided to move a proposed public records resolution that charges the public to pay an employee’s hourly wage for request forward for an official vote at a future meeting. They suggested, however, making sure the charges are not “punitive.”
