1.     It will be partly sunny with temperatures reaching a high near 89, and there’s a 40 percent of rain after 2 p.m. today.

2.     The New Port City Council meets for its first formal workshop of the Fiscal Year 2012 budget tomorrow. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Read our preview.

3.     The Pasco County Commission meets at 37918 Meridian Avenue in Dade City today and will decide whether to pursue “mobility fees.” The meeting starts at 10 a.m., but the mobility fee discussion is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

4.     Go see the “Astro Boy” movie for $1 at the Regal Summer Movie Express: $1 Family Films event today at 6701 Cinema Dr, Port Richey, FL 34668. The movie starts at 10 a.m.
