FL Babysitter Created Child Porn With Toddler In His Care: U.S. DOJ

A babysitter in Dade City will spend time in federal prison for creating child sex abuse videos with a 2-year-old in his care, US DOJ said.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A Dade City-area babysitter was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for producing child sex abuse material with a 2-year-old in his care, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.

The court also ordered Olejuwan Lamar Steele, 30, of Zephyrhills to pay $3,000 in restitution to his victim and register as a sex offender. He entered a guilty plea on April 17.

While babysitting the toddler one day in 2022, Steele created child sexual abuse material of the victim and shared as live videos online, the DOJ said.
