Geocaching, Dancing on Tap At EcoFest Today
There's a full slate of activities scheduled for EcoFest's second and longest day.

Up for some late night drumming and dancing on the beach?
Would a kayak trip on the Pithlachascotee River float your boat?
Joining a drum circle and paddling on the river are two of the many things you can do today during Pasco EcoFest, a festival that puts the spotlight on West Pasco parks and the things you can do in and around them.

Saturday is Cacher Day! The GeoFest Biker’s Poker Run and Hiker's Poker Run are challenges for those that plan on trekking on wheels or foot.

Think you can succeed at the orienteering challenge? “’Orienteering’ is the sport of using a compass to navigate your way between checkpoints along an unfamiliar course,” according to the EcoFest website. The GeoFest Orienteering Challenge is part of Geocacher Day and offers three separate routes.

West Pasco Audubon Society members take folks on a trek in Starkey Park and point out seasonal birds.

Artists will also be painting the benches on the Main Street Bridge in New Port Richey at 9 a.m.as part of a Greater New Port Richey Main Street project.
