SPRING HILL, FL — Pasco County Fire Rescue will hold a groundbreaking for Fire Station 20 at 15900 Little Ranch Road in Spring Hill on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m.
Pasco County Fire Rescue Station 20 is a 16,046-square-foot state-of-the-art four-bay fire station built with an emphasis on firefighter health, safety and wellness.
Station 20 is the latest fire station in Pasco County with a hot, warm and cold zone design aimed at reducing firefighter cancer rates. The zones will allow firefighters to clean carcinogens off their bodies before entering the fire station's living quarters. This is a first-of-its-kind design in the bay area and predicted to be a best-practices model for the fire industry.
