Holiday Drive-By Shooting Under Investigation
Shots were fired at people standing outside a Holiday home early Sunday morning.

HOLIDAY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in Holiday early Sunday morning.
According to the agency, several people were standing outside a home in the 5200 block of Tammy Lane around 3:30 a.m. Oct. 16. A person in a four-door sedan drove near the home and fired a handgun at the people, an email from the agency said.
After firing the shots, the driver headed east on Tammy Lane and fired several additional rounds. Deputies say several of the victims left the scene before law enforcement arrived, but no injuries were reported. Damage, however, was discovered at a second house in the area during a neighborhood check following the shooting, an email from the agency said.

Detectives are working to identify the driver and to learn if anyone else was in the vehicle. In the meantime, they’re asking anyone with information in the case to call the agency’s tip line at 1-800-706-2488. Tips may also be submitted online via the sheriff’s office’s website.
No further information is available at this time. Deputies have said the incident does not appear to be random.
