Hudson Man, Woman Killed In Motorcycle Crash In New Port Richey
Two people on a motorcycle died following a motorcycle crash on Massachusetts Avenue in New Port Richey Tuesday afternoon.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 49-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both from Hudson, have died following a motorcycle crash on Massachusetts Avenue in New Port Richey Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 2:25 p.m., the 43-year-old Hudson man was riding a motorcycle east on Massachusetts Avenue with the 49-year-old woman on the back.
A car driven by a 41-year-old New Port Richey woman was headed west on Massachusetts Avenue.

According to troopers, at the intersection of Little Road, the New Port Richey woman turned left on a traffic signal with a green arrow and the motorcyclist ran a red light and crashed into the car.
Both people on the motorcycle were thrown off. They were taken to the hospital where both died.

The woman in the car suffered minor injuries.
