PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking a pickup truck driver who struck a bicyclist on State Road 54 approaching Sunlake Boulevard, and then fled the scene.

At 1:55 a.m. Sunday, the pickup truck was heading west on State Road 54 when it overtook and collided with a bicycle ridden by a 36-year-old Lutz man.

The pickup truck driver left the scene without providing aid to the bicyclist, who was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
