Main Event: Larry Gillis and his Hard Driving Sawgrass Band

Are you willing to brave the risk of rain in the name of bluegrass? Accompanied by his band, Larry Gillis, also known as Dr. Swampgrass, will take the stage of the Sims Park amphitheater tonight, March 28. Gillis has considerable skill with the banjo and more than 30 years of musical experience. The concert, which also features Travis Chandler and Avery County, runs from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and is free for all.
