Man Crossing Street Hit, Killed By SUV In Pasco County: FL Highway Patrol

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A man was hit and killed Monday evening while crossing a street in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

A Ford Escape driven by a 56-year-old Port Richey woman was heading east on Embassy Boulevard just after 6:30 p.m.

At the Barrington Lane intersection, a 74-year-old Port Richey man was crossing the road when he walked into the SUV’s path and was hit by it, FHP said.

He was brought to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
