PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man accused of sideswiping another vehicle and then punching and robbing the other driver when they got out of their vehicles to exchange information.

The sheriff's office said the crime occurred near the intersection of State Road 54 and Asturian Parkway in west Pasco County over the weekend. When the driver who was sideswiped got out of his vehicle to inspect the damage and exchange insurance information, the man who sideswiped him punched and robbed him.

After stealing the victim's property, the other man drove away in a light-colored sports utility vehicle that may be missing a side mirror.

He is described as Black, anywhere from 28 to 37 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 235 to 260 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 1-800-706-2488 and refer to case number 23041627 or submit a tip on the sheriff's website.
