Matos Faces Possible Death Penalty In Quadruple Murder Trial
A Pasco jury found Adam Matos guilty on all four counts of first-degree murder last week and the sentencing phase began Monday.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL - Adam Matos could face the death penalty as the sentencing phase in his quadruple murder trial began Monday.
A Pasco jury found the 32-year-old Matos guilty on all four counts of first-degree murder last week. Matos was found guilty in the 2014 deaths of his ex-girlfriend Megan Brown, her new boyfriend, Nick Leonard, Brown’s father, Greg Brown and her mother, Margaret Brown.
Matos testified Wednesday that he committed the slayings but in self-defense. After the slayings, Matos moved the four bodies to Hudson.
