Matos Gets Life In Prison For Quadruple Murders: Report
Jurors could not reach a unanimous decision to give him the death penalty

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL - A Pasco jury has decided that convicted killer Adam Matos should serve life in prison instead of getting the death penalty. Jurors could not reach a unanimous decision to give him the death penalty, News Channel 8 reported.
Last week, the jury found the 32-year-old Matos guilty on all four counts of first-degree murder. Matos was found guilty in the 2014 deaths of his ex-girlfriend Megan Brown, her new boyfriend, Nick Leonard, Brown's father, Greg Brown and her mother, Margaret Brown.
Matos testified last week that he committed the slayings but in self-defense. After the slayings, Matos moved the four bodies to Hudson.
