Moon Lake Man Accused of Sexually Battering Teen

A Moon Lake area man has been accused of sexually battering a 15-year-old girl, according to the Pasco County Shriff’s Office.
The man and the girl went to the man’s residence and entered a shed in his backyard in Moon Lake Tuesday, according to an arrest report. The man closed the door. He pulled the girl to the floor, pulled her pants down and had sex with her. He later told a detective that he also hugged and kissed her.
The girl’s family came to the residence. The man heard them, left the shed and closed the door.

The man's profession was listed as "roofer" on the report.
Investigation confirmed that sexual activity occurred.

Johnny Horton, 46, of Estelle Street, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Land O’ Lakes Jail Thursday on a charge of sexual battery. His bail is set at $50,000.
