NAMI Pasco Opens Call For Heroes of Hope Nominations

NAMI Pasco has an open call for nominations for mental health superheroes in the following categories:

NAMI Pasco Volunteer of The Year

A person who has given selfishly of their time this past year to celebrate NAMI Pasco's Mission and Activities.

Unsung Hero of The Year

A person who’s flying under the radar, not yet receiving recognition for their significant contributions? Think outside the box and shine a light on someone doing exceptional work.

Peer Support of The Year

A person who is willing to share their personal experience of mental health challenges while proving information, empathy, and hope for the future.

Mental Health Professional of The Year

A professional who goes above and beyond the normal performance expectations to ensure excellent treatment, promote recovery, reduce stigma, and show compassion. Examples include therapists, nurses, peer support specialists...

Mental Health Office of The Year

Is there a place you go to receive treatment that is absolutely amazing from the office staff to the providers? We want to hear about it.

Teen Advocate of The Year

A high-school student who is dedicated to breaking the stigma of mental health.

College Advocate of The Year

A college student who is dedicated to breaking the stigma of mental health.

Officer of The Year

Know an officer (CIT, BHIT, or otherwise) who is making a positive impact on community members with mental health conditions? Please tell us about them.

Mental Health Innovator of The Year

Know someone doing something new and exciting in the field of mental health right here in Pasco County? Maybe it's a new program, a presentation, or some other out-of-the-box idea...

Justice Hero of The Year

A person who daily strives to improve legislation, laws, and conditions of the mental health arena. This could be a family advocate, a judge, a lawyer, a legislative representative, etc.

NAMI Pasco Board Member of The Year

A NAMI Pasco Board Member who has done outstanding things in the community to spread NAMI Pasco's mission, vision, and values.

Media Award of The Year

A person in print or media who actively seeks and accurately covers stories on mental health. This person is not afraid to report the injustices those with mental health face and also pushes to report the successes in the mental health field.
