Grocery Chain Opens New Pasco County Store
A national grocery chain is opening a new store in Pasco County — its second in Odessa.
ODESSA, FL — Aldi is celebrating the opening of its new store in Pasco County — and its second in Odessa — on July 17, according to a news release.
The grocery store at 17649 Gunn Highway will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony that day at 8:45 a.m.
The first 100 customers will receive a gift bag with a sampling of Aldi “fan favorites” products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program.

Shoppers can also enter sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card through the opening weekend.

Those shopping at the location can find the company’s award-winning exclusive brands and weekly lineup of limited-time items.
"At our new Odessa Aldi store, shoppers will find that every decision we make, from our product selection to store layout, is to provide our customers with the best products at the lowest possible prices of any national grocer," Matt Thon, regional vice president, said. "Our customers can save up to 36 (percent) on an average household’s shopping list. As shoppers look for better ways to stretch their dollar, Aldi is providing Odessa with easier access to quality groceries at affordable prices."
Aldi’s goal is to open 800 stores nationwide by the end of 2028.
