New Port Richey To Host Fall Clean-Up Day

Clean-Up Day allows New Port Richey resident to dispose of unwanted items not allowed to be set out at the curb.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – Grab your unwanted paint, old drywall and damaged furniture – it’s time to clean out your home with the City of New Port Richey’s help.

The City of New Port Richey will host its Neighborhood Fall Clean-Up Day on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event allows residents within the city limits to dispose of unwanted items in Dumpsters rented by New Port Richey.

Residents can take their unwanted items to either of the following to locations to properly dispose of these items:

  • Frances Avenue Park, 5580 Frances Ave., off Louisiana Avenue
  • The former Old River Road Church property, 6131 S. River Road.

The following materials will be allowed in the Dumpsters:

  • Glass
  • Carpet
  • Wood (8 feet or less)
  • Household furniture
  • Drywall
  • Mattresses
  • Fences
  • Plywood
  • Undamaged televisions and computers
  • Paint

Non-working, undamaged televisions and computer monitors/towers, along with household chemicals, will be accepted at the River Road location only. Paper shredding will be available at the River Road location, with a limit of four paper boxes per household.
