NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A 69-year-old New Port Richey man has died following a crash Monday at the intersection of Rowan and Broadmoor roads.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 11:15 a.m., a motorcycle ridden by the 69-year-old man was heading south on Rowan Road, approaching Broadmoor Road, when a car driven by a 24-year-old New Port Richey man east on Broadmoor Drive went through the intersection and crashed into the motorcycle.

The 69-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he died.
