Pasco County To Host Holiday Toy Drive

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – With the holidays approaching, Pasco County is making plans to make sure schoolchildren have a gift to look forward to.

Pasco County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Mike Moore has partnered with the Pasco County District School Board to collect new toys for Pasco County Children. The inaugural Holiday Toy Drive will take place from Wednesday, Nov. 1 to Monday, Nov. 27.

All the toys will be distributed through Pasco County District Schools.

“Not all Pasco children will have a gift of their own to look forward to,” Moore said. “This toy drive is an opportunity to ensure more Pasco children will have a brighter holiday season.”

Donations of new, unwrapped toys for children ages 5 to 13 can be dropped off at the following government buildings across Pasco County:

• Pasco County Historic Courthouse, 37918 Meridian Ave., Dade City
• West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey
• New River Branch Library, 34043 State Road 54, Zephyrhills
