Pasco Residents Invited To ‘Stuff The Bus’

Pasco County Public Transportation is hosting a Thanksgiving food drive for needy families.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – Pasco County Public Transportation is hoping to help busloads of needy families this Thanksgiving by helping to stuff a bus with a bounty of food.

PCPT is partnering with The Volunteer Way to host a Stuff the Bus event on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at two Pasco County locations:

  • Walmart Supercenter, 8745 State Road 54, New Port Richey
  • Walmart Supercenter, 28500 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel

The organizations are looking for the following donations: frozen turkeys, hams, boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables and other similar food items.

The Volunteer Way is a nonprofit organization that has served Pasco County’s low-income and homeless families for more than 20 years.
