Red Cross Recovery Center To Open In Pasco

The American Red Cross will help Pasco County residents with Hurricane Irma recovery efforts.

HUDSON, FL – While many Pasco County residents are recovering from the effects of Hurricane Irma, others still seek assistance with their recovery efforts.

To help these residents, Pasco County Emergency Management, in partnership with the American Red Cross, will open a Hurricane Irma Recovery Center. The center will open at the Fasano Center, 11611 Denton Ave. in Hudson.

The recovery center will open daily from Tuesday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Red Cross caseworkers will be on hand to meet with Pasco County residents affected by Hurricane Irma to help with recovery planning, limited financial assistance for those who qualify and other resource referrals. Financial assistances is available only to residents with a heavily damaged or destroyed home.

To register for Red Cross assistance, residents are requested to bring photo ID and proof of residence.
