Santa Claus Is Coming To New Port Richey: Where To See Him

Children eager to share their holiday wish lists can find Santa Claus at these locations.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many New Port Richey area families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

Around New Port Richey, kids can share their Christmas wish lists with Santa Claus at these locations and events:

Avalon Aglow

Residents are invited to come out to Avalon Park in Wesley Chapel, 33613 State Road 54, on Dec. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. for the free Avalon Aglow featuring photos with Santa, real snow, fireworks at 8 p.m., music, dancing, food trucks, vendors and a bounce park.

Shops At Wiregrass

Kids can meet and have their photos taken with Santa at the Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel. Photos with Santa will be available for purchase in the Center Court starting at 4 p.m. every day through Christmas Eve. Click here for hours and click here to make a reservation.

Pet photos with Santa will be available Nov. 27, Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Breakfast With Santa

Dade City Farms, 17187 Lake Lola Road, Dade City, will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.

After breakfast, kids will get a chance to try the farm's giant slide and corn box, jump pad, gem mining, petting zoo and more.

The cost is $25 for children age 3 and up and free for children age 2 and younger.

Celebration Of Lights

The Concourse, 11919 Alric Pottberg Road, Shady Hills, will host a Celebration of Lights, featuring more than a mile of lights viewed by car before boarding a miniature train for a ride to Safety Town to visit with Santa. There will also be food trucks on hand.

The Celebration of Lights will run Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is $25 per car and $3 per train ride.

Santa At Sims Park

Families are invited to meet with Santa at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 10:30 a.m. and again on Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. The events are free. Click here.

Christmas In The Park

Somebody Cares Pasco will host Christmas in the Park on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Port Richey Waterfront Park. There will be food, hot chocolate, music, Christmas carols and a visit from Santa.
