Southgate Senior Center Closing Temporarily

Meal services and delivery to homebound participants of the New Port Richey senior center will continue as scheduled.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – One of Pasco County’s six senior centers will temporarily close to provide a home for a community yard sale.

Pasco County Senior Services announced that Southgate Senior Center, 5352 Charlotte Ave. in New Port Richey, will close Friday, Nov. 17 to host the Southgate Apartments annual Community Yard Sale.

“The Pasco County Senior Services Division extends its apologies for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause,” county officials said in a news release.

Registered diners who normally attend meals at the Southgate Senior Center are invited to attend meals at the Galen Wilson Senior Center, 8600 Galen Wilson Blvd. in Port Richey. Meal services and delivery to homebound Southgate Senior Center participants will continued as scheduled.
