SPCA Suncoast Hiring New Executive Director

Jennie Birguglio has resigned from the role of the SPCA Suncoast Executive Director

Each year the SPCA Suncoast helps hundreds of animals find homes. The organization has been existence for almost 50 years and is currently seeking new leadership.

The organization announced this week they have kicked off a search for a new Executive Director to lead the organization through its next phase of innovation and growth, according to a press release from the SPCA.

About a month ago, the SPCA Suncoast’s Executive Director, Jennie Birguglio, resigned from the role, said Gail Fawcett, President of the SPCA Suncoast’s Board of Directors in a press release.

"We have 50 years of history in this shelter and we look forward to another 50 years. We wish Jennie the best, and are now ready to kick off a search to find someone who will take this organization to the next level," Birguglio said.

The Executive Director provides the leadership and strategy for the SPCA and manages its day-to-day operations and activities. The successful hire would be responsible for ensuring the mission of the organization is achieved and pets are finding homes along with the fiscal soundness of the organization.
