Suspicious Townhome Fire In Holiday Leaves 6 Families Homeless
Pasco fire rescue is seeking information on a three-alarm fire on Boardwalk Street in Holiday Saturday that destroyed four townhomes.
HOLIDAY, FL — Pasco County Fire Rescue is seeking information on a three-alarm fire on Boardwalk Street in Holiday Saturday that destroyed four townhomes and significantly damaged two others.
Around 9:30 p.m., Pasco County Fire Rescue arrived at the scene to find a townhome on fire with two adjacent townhomes in danger.
According to fire rescue public information officer, Corey Dierdorff, the fire spread quickly due to the construction of the townhomes and difficulty accessing the fire.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 90 minutes but four townhomes were a total loss and two others had significant damage. However, no injuries were reported.
Pasco County Fire Rescue investigators is working closely with the State Fire Marshal's Office and Pasco County Sheriff's Office to determine the cause of the fire, which Dierdorff said appears suspicious.
