Trinity Lacrosse Player's Determination Alone Makes Her A Winner

Her mother said Jerianne fell in love with lacrosse in sixth grade and, in seventh grade, decided she wanted to play lacrosse in college.

TRINITY, FL — We all know student-athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

This submission comes from Krista Morris of Trinity, who nominated her daughter, Jerianne.

"Jerianne did not make her lacrosse team her freshman yet," her mother said. "She was devastated yet determined to work hard and practice on her own. She made the varsity team her sophomore year."

Morris said Jerianne fell in love with lacrosse in sixth grade and, in seventh grade, decided she wanted to play lacrosse in college. She worked hard and attended many lacrosse camps. She focused on her school work and what she needed to do to get into a good college. She has now committed to play lacrosse in college and continue her education.
