Reasons for Awesomeness: The two Gulf High students are collecting items for care packages to send to Cresoe's uncle and others in his U.S. Army National Guard unit in Afghanistan.
Right now, the students, who began the project Feb. 4, have collected a box of goods donated by faculty. They want to collect more.
Magolan has been promoting the project. Cresoe has been coordinating student volunteers and the collection of donations.
Students who helped out with the project earn hours toward the Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) graduation requirement for the International Baccalaureate program.
