Nelson admitted to the deputy she threw the fruit because she was mad. According to the incident report, Nelson told her mother she was going to eat all the fruit, and her mother told her "no."
The deputy also noted several bruises on the woman that appeared to be from an earlier incident, which the woman said were caused by Nelson. She told the deputy Nelson had become angry with her before, striking her "all over her body," according to the report.
