Woman Struck By Armored Vehicle In New Port Richey Hospitalized
Firefighters worked to quickly free the woman from under the vehicle's step.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A woman is in the hospital recovering from severe injuries sustained following a collision with an armored vehicle, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
Rescue crews said the crash happened Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the Wawa on State Road 52 at Little Road in New Port Richey.
"An adult female was hit and her legs were stuck under this armored vehicle," Pasco County Fire Rescue tweeted. "The woman is listed as a trauma alert."
