3 Northbound Lanes Now Open on I-75 in Wesley Chapel
Do you travel on Interstate 75 between State Road 56 and County Road 54? What do you think of the new configuration?
The Florida Department of Transportation has good news for Interstate 75 commuters in Wesley Chapel.
Those who travel on northbound I-75 between State Road 56 and County Road 54/State Road 54 should notice three lanes now open.
The traffic was switched to this permanent alignment Sept. 17, according to FDOT.

“Motorists are reminded to use extra caution through this area as drivers adjust to the changes,” an FDOT press release states. “This includes the left lane merging to the right just north of State Road 56.”
The whole area will remain a construction zone with more changes coming in the next couple months, the release states. FDOT is asking motorists to watch out for workers, especially at night.
