City to Consider More Annexation in New Tampa

The City of Tampa hasn't adjusted it's boundaries since 2006, but a local developer hopes that the city will soon add roughly 150 acres, according to a report on TBO.com.

TaylorMorrison wants to add land just west of Wharton High School into the folds of the city. The expansion could add $110 million to the city's tax base, according to the article.
