Convicted Carjacker Found with Guns, Ammo

The possession of those items was a violation of his parole.

A man on felony probation for carjacking got a ride back to jail recently after a probation check revealed he was packing heat.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, a deputy conducting a probation check at the home of John Dennis Scott found 16 rounds of ammunition and two BB guns.

Scott, 24, of 31026 Harper Branch Place in Wesley Chapel admitted he knew he posession of the items was a violation of his parole, according to the report.

He is being held at the Land O' Lakes jail without bond.
