Hillsborough County will hold a public meeting to discuss a proposed drainage improvement to improve flooding issues along 129th Avenue East in the University Area.
This project is proposed to build a small detention pond on a county-owned parcel on 129th Avenue East, and add concrete curb and gutter along the south side of the street leading to the proposed pond.Â
Construction is expected to begin by late fall and cost approximately $100,000.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the University Area Community Development Center, 14013 N. 22nd St., Tampa. Â Â Â Â Â
County staff will be at the meeting to explain the project and answer questions.Â
