Hooshang Boostani, EPC's first Waste Director, is an avid cheerleader for a variety of Philanthropic causes. Mr. Boostani served as the EPC's Philanthropic Committee founding advisor for years. His generosity and love extended to animals, as well as people. When he retired last year, after 40 years of service with the EPC, staff decided to memorialize the Philanthropy he championed with the For the Love of Boostani fundraiser event, which is to be held annually on Valentine’s Day.

Staff raised over $1000 in personal cash donations and collected food, treats, bedding and toys to benefit shelter animals in need. Mr. Boostani joined staff on Monday, February 14th, for the 2022 inaugural Valentine's Day event, as we presented the collected goods and monetary donations to the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Foundation, Inc.
We thank Scott Trebatoski, Lori Letzring, Kathy Ebner, and the staff and volunteers at the Hillsborough County Pet Resources Center for all they do to find homeless animals their fur-ever home. We also thank everyone that made contributions for the shelter and our EPC event organizers, Michelle Jenkins, Cody Winter, and Mary Guthrie for helping to make this event such a success.
