Julie Schenecker’s Trial Delayed Until April
The New Tampa mom, who is accused of killing her two children, has a new trial date, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Julie Schenecker’s trial, which was supposed to begin in October, has been pushed back to April 28, 2014, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Schenecker is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her two children, Calyx and Beau, in 2011.
The children were found shot to death in their Tampa Palms home. Schenecker who has a history of mental and addiction problems, admitted shooting them but pleaded not guilty.

“Hillsborough Circuit Judge Emmett Lamar Battles granted a defense motion to postpone the trial, which had been scheduled to begin later this year, until April 2014,” the Tampa Bay Times story states.
Defense lawyers said they needed more time to review computer evidence in the case, among other things, the story states. There was no objection from prosecutors.
