Road Closure Could Cause Traffic Near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard
The county is inspecting a hole that opened up in the roadway.
The southbound lane of 42nd Street is shut down from Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to Skipper Road.
The roadway will remain closed while Hillsborough County maintenance workers examine a hole in the roadway. The hole is currently estimated to be two feet wide, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
