1. The LGBTQ+ Center, said those in need can receive counseling under their Orlando United Resilience Services program and has resumed in-person counseling, which was paused earlier in the pandemic. The Center is located at 946 North Mills Avenue. (Fox 35 Orlando)

2. The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games will be held in Orlando from June 5 to June 12. The games are expected to feature roughly 5,500 athletes, coaches, and officials from across the country as well as 15 additional countries from North and South America competing in 19 Olympic-style events. 3. State Attorney Monique Worrell held a press conference in Orlando Thursday afternoon to discuss the recent shootings in the area and plans to address them. Worrell encouraged citizens to contact law enforcement if they are concerned about someone committing gun violence. Her office is looking into other ways to prevent gun violence, although no specifics were provided. (WESH)

4. The 33rd annual Zora Fest! kicked off Friday with the beginning of its three-day Outdoor Festival of the Arts in Eatonville. The 2022 season has been dubbed “Celebrations for the Generations,” according to the Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community (P.E.C.). (Click Orlando)

5. Kissimmee loan officer, Evelisse Hernandez, is accused of running a scheme to help home buyers acquire bigger loans than they might have qualified for otherwise by forging documents. She is now facing federal charges including bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. (WFTV)
