1. A Brevard County Sheriff’s Office probationary deputy has been arrested after allegedly hitting his live-in girlfriend, according to the sheriff's office. Tyler Morra is charged with battery domestic violence, according to the sheriff's office. (Fox 35 Orlando)

2. A health alert is in effect for an Orange County lake after the presence of a harmful toxin was detected on April 6. The Florida Department of Health in Orange County said harmful blue-green algal toxins were found in Lake Mann by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. (WFTV)

3. Turo, a car-sharing company, has partnered with Orlando International Airport (MCO) to give travelers more options. When a user lands at at the airport and gets out of the terminal, they can pick up their car directly from any of the garages. The host will tell the user which row and level the car is located on. 4. Haan Coffee Roasters will be opening at 1233 E. Colonial Drive in Mills50 later this summer. The brand officially launched in November 2020, selling its unique selection of coffee online. The brand sources its beans directly from coffee farmers. The shop has shared beautiful photos of the plan for its cafe. (Bungalower)

5. A Winter Park teenager went viral with a LGBTQ history presentation on Stonewall Riots following passage of Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill. Student activist Will Larkins ended up writing an opinion piece for the New York Times about the impact of the controversial legislation. (Orlando Weekly)
