Here are the top five stories in Orlando today:

1. There will be a limited-edition Bob's Burger Pop-up: "Get This Plant Patty Started" at a limited time pop-up outside the AMC Theater at Disney Springs in Orlando during opening weekend today to Sunday, May 29. Impossible Foods partnered with Disney and John Roberts, the voice actor behind the beloved Linda Belcher, to make the plant-based burger. (Orlando Patch)

2. Seminole County Deputies announced the arrest of 24-year-old Lewis Boone on Thursday. According to jail records, Boone was first arrested on May 3 on unrelated charges. He faces charges of premeditated first-degree murder, carrying an unlicensed concealed weapon, destruction of evidence and 54 counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon. 3. UCF associate professor of psychology Charles Negy will be reinstated to UCF after an arbitrator sided with his grievances against the university on May 16. UCF did not have a just cause to terminate Negy as it violated his contract with the faculty union, according to the arbitrator Ben Falcigno's opinion. (NSM Today)

4. The Department of Children and Family Services, the state agency that runs a rent assistance program called OUR Florida, announced earlier this month that the program would soon be closing on May 10. The state told Floridians that by May 27, all funds would be allocated. Locals complain that OUR Florida has not processed their payments though and many are being left with evictions. (WESH)

5. Nashville-style chicken chain Dave's Hot Chicken is finally opening their doors in Orlando today. The first Florida spot is located at the Waterford Lakes Town Center on Alafaya Trail. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. (Orlando Weekly)

  • Disney has released its lineup for EPCOT’s Eat to the Beat concert series coming in July. On the list are Baha Meen, Tiffany, Joey Fatone and Friends, Air Supply, Christopher Cross, and more. (WFTV)
