Here are the top five stories in Orlando today:

1. Two Orlando families have made their street a celebration of Christmas in Dover Shores neighborhood. The Bells and the Byrds have a friendly competition of elaborate decorations, including handmade decorations and creations. Both families say the decorations are a labor of love for Central Florida kids. (WMFE)

2. U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL 7th District) announced Monday that she will not be seeking reelection to a fourth term in the House of Representatives. The 7th district includes all of Seminole County and much of northern Orange County. She is the first Vietnamese-American woman to serve in Congress. (Bay News 9)

3. Deli Desires and Chinese pop-up Little Giant are joining forces for a Chinese/Jewish pop-up concept on Thursday, December 23rd at 7 a.m. at 715 N. Fern Creek Ave. On the menu: Krab Rangoon Bialy, Omelette Chili Sandwich, Corned Beef and Broccoli, Scrapple Dumplings (frozen), and more. They are not taking pre-orders, it's first-come, first-serve. (Bungalower)

4. More than 5 million Floridians plan to travel for Christmas. That represents a 35% increase from 2020, according to AAA. The travel giant says the busiest travel days will be between December 23rd and January 2nd. AAA also shared the best and worst travel times during the holiday season with Patch. (Patch Florida)

5. HCA Healthcare North Florida Division has announced David Shimp as Osceola Regional Medical Center's new Chief Executive Officer. Shimp will oversee Kissimmee's 404-bed hospital, which has served residents and visitors for nearly 90 years. (Osceola News-Gazette)
