1. Orange-Osceola State Attorney Monique Worrell announced a new narcotics unit to investigate and prosecute high-level drug trafficking cases on Monday. Worrell said that incarceration cannot be the only method to crack down on drug crimes and the unit will work to differentiate between suppliers and addicts. (WFTV)
2. Rent Spikes: An Orlando woman moved out of her apartment after the apartment complex she lived at raised her rent by $800. She's not alone as several people report their rent increasing by hundreds of dollars a month. The Apartment Association of Greater Orlando says the skyrocketing prices represent a lack of supply. 3. A 24-year-old Kissimmee woman was killed when her car struck a metal pole at a high rate of speed as she was fleeing a hit-and-run, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Both crashes are under investigation. (Click Orlando)
4. Flagler County School Board member Jill Woolbright of District 1 filed a criminal complaint with the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday over a book that is on school library shelves. The complaint is over "All Boys Aren't Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto" which is an LGBTQ-themed book. Woolbright admits she did not read the entire book. (WESH)
5. Disney employees have started the process of moving from California to Florida. 2,000 employees are expected to make the move and realtors say they are already being contacted to find places for employees to live. (WTSP)
